War Angles

1/1/2002

Voluptuous hills
Beckon seductively
With promises of something sweet.
Yet what lies behind
Are just valleys of darkness, desolation and despair.
Clouds clump in cosmic formations
Amalgamations swabbed against a sky
So blue, shades of blue different
And sun struggles to shine through the clouds
As if at war with the cloud god Indra
World is ugly at times
But also rich in beauty beyond our wildest dreams
How I long to meet
The higher power that created all this.
Sit for a moment.
Join me and count your blessings
Cloud formations.
Lush green provocative hills
Sweet stubborn sun.
