Trauma Recovery

(2:32-2:39)
Pop your skull like a balloon.
This image disturbs me greatly
Yet moves me,
Reminds me of our mere mortality,
Our fragile existence on this vast planet.
Reminds me that drinking and driving should not mix
Ever.
Or that image of skull popping like a balloon
May become a reality,
Reminds me that a little fear is healthy
For us a little fear helps us to keep the balloon
That is our skull intact.
We are mere mortals
But let’s play for a minute
And imagine our skull indestructible
That I could just bounce back after a hideous fall
That gravity would reverse itself.

    Bloom Beloved

My passion lies in God, nature, horses, and spending time with children.  Through my poetry, I hope to inspire, uplift, and delight.

We are truly living with authentic fullness in our day to day.
