Where Is Your True Assignment?

Many are told your life is full of sin... Without God your spirit, and soul will die. You must have a relationship with Jesus Christ, or at death you will suffer eternally. After being saved, after death, you will live eternally with God in Heaven. Very few times have I been taught the reason to have a relationship with Christ is to become a citizen of heaven here on earth. As a citizen here on earth, we have the responsibility of building God Kingdom, as it is in Heaven. Why are so many people seeking a relationship with God and waiting around for death. Is the true assignment here, or making it to Heaven?
